Swift development

Swift is how we build for iPhone and iPad. We use it for apps that should feel at home on iOS, from the first gesture to the way they respond to accessibility settings.

How we use Swift

We write new iOS screens in SwiftUI and fall back to UIKit where a component needs finer control, such as custom camera overlays. Concurrency is handled with async and await, and data flows through small, testable view models. We structure projects with Swift Package Manager so features can be developed and reviewed independently. Every build goes through TestFlight before it reaches the App Store, which gives the client a real device preview at each milestone rather than a slide deck.

What we build with Swift

  • SwiftUI screens with UIKit where precise control is needed
  • AVFoundation and Vision for camera and image features
  • Swift Concurrency for network and background tasks
  • Core Data or SwiftData for local persistence
  • XCTest suites and TestFlight distribution

Questions about Swift

Is SwiftUI ready for production apps?

For most screens, yes. We choose it by default and use UIKit for the specific parts where SwiftUI still limits layout or performance.

Which iOS versions do you support?

That is agreed per project. We look at the audience, the features required and the cost of supporting older versions, then write it into the proposal.
