This policy explains how castex.online uses cookies and similar technologies, in line with article 82 of the French Data Protection Act, the EU ePrivacy Directive and the guidelines of the CNIL.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files that a website places on your device. Similar technologies, such as browser local storage, work in a comparable way. Some are strictly necessary for a site to work. Others, such as analytics or advertising cookies, may only be used with your prior consent.
2. What this site uses
castex.online currently sets no cookies and stores nothing in your browser. In particular:
- there is no analytics, advertising or tracking script;
- there are no social media buttons, embedded videos or maps from other companies;
- fonts, styles and scripts are served from our own domain;
- the contact form does not set a cookie.
Because nothing optional is used, the site does not show a consent banner. The "Cookie settings" button in the footer confirms this at any time.
3. If this changes
Before we introduce any cookie that is not strictly necessary, we will:
- update this policy with the name, provider, purpose and duration of each cookie;
- ask for your consent through a banner with equally prominent options to accept or refuse;
- set nothing optional until you have chosen;
- let you change your choice at any time from the footer;
- keep optional cookies for no longer than 13 months and ask again for consent no later than 6 months after you refuse.
4. Controlling cookies in your browser
You can delete cookies and block them in your browser settings. Instructions are available in the help pages of Chrome, Firefox, Safari and Edge. The CNIL also publishes practical advice on its website.
5. Server logs
Server logs are not cookies. They are described in section 2 of our privacy policy.
